Unlike traditional search engines, it handles multi-part questions and provides detailed follow-up responses with reference links for verification. For example, students can request a step-by-step analysis of a physics problem, while professionals might ask for a presentation outline with supporting data. Additionally, New Quark retains popular tools like image generation and medical diagnostics,  positioning itself as a all-round companion for both work and personal tasks.

此次升级的核心驱动力来自千问大模型的技术突破。在实时信息准确率和知识解析深度两项关键指标上，该模型已超越多数主流AI系统。经与深度求索（DeepSeek）等竞争对手的基准测试显示，千问大模型赋予夸克快速整合多源数据的能力。阿里宣布未来三年将投入逾10亿美元升级AI基础设施体系，涵盖云计算服务与原生AI应用开发，为夸克的持续进化提供底层支持。新夸克于3月13日启动灰度测试，正式加入与字节跳动“豆包”、OpenAI的ChatGPT等产品的市场竞争。

Central to the upgrade is Alibaba’s Qwen model, which surpasses many mainstream AI systems in real-time information accuracy and depth. Benchmarked against competitors such as DeepSeek, the Qwen model enables Quark to analyze and synthesize (综合) data from multiple sources quickly. Alibaba plans to invest over $1 billion in the next three years to upgrade AI infrastructure, including cloud computing and AI-native apps, directly supporting Quark’s evolution. New Quark enters a competitive market dominated by apps like ByteDance’s Doubao and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, with a gradual rollout starting with a pilot phase on March 13.

夸克CEO吴嘉强调此次升级“仅是起点”，计划将平台打造为无限AI探索的入口。阿里巴巴集团CEO吴泳铭则指出，大模型与应用的深度融合有望为生产力革新和内容创作范式带来革命性变革。 

Wu Jia, Quark’s CEO, emphasized that this upgrade is “just the beginning,” with plans to evolve Quark into a gateway for limitless AI exploration. Meanwhile, Alibaba CEO Eddie Wu noted that integrating large AI models could revolutionize productivity and content creation.
