China has taken the global lead in 6G development, with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially approving the use of the 6 GHz frequency band for 6G trials, making China the first country worldwide to do so. Dubbed the “golden spectrum” by the telecom industry, the 6 GHz band offers wide coverage, large capacity and high reliability, and is highly compatible with the existing 5G mid-band ecosystem, enabling a smooth transition from 5G to 6G.

According to experts, 6G will enable communication among humans, machines, things and intelligent agents capable of autonomous learning and decision-making. China’s 6G commercial applications are expected to begin around 2030, with large-scale commercial deployment by 2035, potentially fostering a trillion-yuan-level industry and application market.

中国率先布局6G，工业和信息化部近期正式批复6GHz频段6G试验频率使用许可，我国成为全球首个批复6G试验频率的国家。6GHz频段被称为通信界“黄金频谱”，兼具广覆盖、大容量、高可靠优势，且与现有5G中频段产业生态高度兼容，可平稳实现从5G向6G的过渡。

据专家介绍，6G将实现人、机、物、灵的通信，其中“灵”指具有自主学习、自主决策能力的智能体。我国6G预计在2030年左右启动商业应用，到2035年实现规模化商用部署，有望培育形成万亿元级产业及应用市场。
